Ultrasonography (USG) is a non-invasive diagnostic medical technique that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce images (sonogram) of the internal structures of the body. 3D USG is medical depiction done during the pregnancy period that can help monitor normal fetal development and screen for any potential problems. This procedure is executed at the request of the patient. Using an ultrasonography, a doctor moves a device called a transducer (probe) over part of your body. The transducer emits sound waves which bounce off the internal tissues, and creates images from the waves that bounce back. A 3D USG allows your doctor to see the width, height, and depth of the fetus and your organs.  The volume measurement is better assessed with 3D USG and doctors can decide medical or surgical treatment.
